Over recent days, the UK Government has launched an attack on nature, weakening the laws that protect our wildlife and making a U-turn on manifesto promises to be the greenest Government ever: reversing reforms to farming and making energy decisions that will worsen climate change.

The landmark 2023 State of Nature Report has shown that the UK – already classified as one of the world’s most nature-depleted countries in the world – is continuing to allow nature to decline.

It has never been more evident that people care more about the state of their natural environment than ever before. With a general election on the horizon, it’s time politicians heard that message.

This exciting new partnership project sees us working with Gregynog on their Welcome Home to Nature project to enhance the historic Montgomeryshire estate for wildlife and people.

We aim to achieve a Wales richer in wildlife, where habitats and landscapes capture more greenhouse gases and where young people (aged 9-24) influence their peers and communities to take positive action to tackle climate change.
