How we are run

Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is a registered charity promoting wildlife conservation in Montgomeryshire. Our mission is to rebuild biodiversity and engage people with their environment. To find out how we are funded, click here.

We are a membership organisation, governed by a board of Trustees, who hold the financial and legal responsibility for everything the Trust does. Our Trustees bring a wide range of knowledge, expertise and experience to the charity and are responsible for approving our strategic plans, annual budget and Annual Report & Accounts. Trustees are appointed from the membership by Council and ratified at the AGM.

Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is part of The Wildlife Trusts, the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species whether they be in the countryside, in cities or at sea. There are 46 local Wildlife Trusts across the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. More about our work.
