Working for Montgomeryshire's wildlife, wild places and people

Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust has worked for over 30 years protecting wildlife and wild places, educating, influencing and empowering people. We directly manage 18 of the best sites for wildlife in Montgomeryshire and work with other landowners on many more. Our work is helping to secure the future of many important habitats and species, which might otherwise be lost.

To rebuild biodiversity and engage people with their environment by being an active and influential wildlife champion
Our mission

How we're run

A group of elected Trustees oversee the governance and strategic leadership of the organisation. Our Trustees are members of the Trust and give their experience and expertise for free.

How we're funded

As a charity, Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is only able to deliver on its mission to protect the county's wildlife through the generosity of our supporters - our 2,000 members, 300 volunteers, grant giving trusts, local authorities, companies and charitable trusts.
