LEAVING A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

Our Legacy Promises

Each and every gift in every Will, no matter how big or small, makes a difference to the vital conservation work we do for wildlife in Montgomeryshire. If you leave us a gift, we make the following promises to you:

  1. The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust seeks to be honest, transparent and compassionate. We will demonstrate these values through any communication with you, and in how we administer your legacy to us.
  2. We will respect your privacy. We will treat your data (the information you pass to us) with confidence. We will keep this information in a secure location and we promise not to share your details with anyone else. We shall not ask for details of your pledge and you do not need to share this with us if you do not wish to.
  3. We understand your family and loved ones will always come first. We will only ever ask that, once you have made provision for them, you will consider including a gift to wildlife. We will show your family and friends compassion, integrity and honesty throughout our legacy administration processes.
  4. We will never unduly influence legal practitioners to encourage gifts to Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, nor pressure you to leave a gift in your Will.
  5. We respect your right, at any time in the future, to change your mind about a gift in your Will to Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust.
  6. We promise to be good stewards of any bequest. We assure you that your gift will be used wisely and cost-effectively so that it has the greatest impact on wildlife conservation and education. We will use your gift where the need is greatest at that time unless you would prefer your gift to be directed towards a specific area of work.
  7. After receiving your gift we may publicise what it has helped to achieve and acknowledge you by name, in order to thank you and to encourage future legacies. This will only be done with the express permission of you, your family or the executor of your Will.
