Event details
About the event
For the last of several avian-themed outings during spring and summer 2025, MWT Bird Group are visiting RSPB Conwy.
Created by the RSPB after the opening of the A55 Conwy tunnel, this wetland on the east bank of the Conwy Estuary is home to so much wildlife, especially wading birds, warblers (such as the Sedge Warbler pictured) and ducks. Watchpoints look out over the lagoon, estuary and Conwy Castle.
Transport will be by car share, meeting at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas Nature Reserve at 8.30am the morning of the trip. Any donations to the driver towards petrol costs very welcome. Members with RSPB membership cards are advised to bring them, otherwise be advised RSPB charges an entry fee.
Numbers are limited to 12 so booking is essential. To book a place, or for further information about the event email Simon Boyes at montbird@gmail.com or text or WhatsApp message him on: 07708 328987.
