Protect Montgomeryshire’s wild places and leave a lasting legacy!
Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust cares for over 510 hectares of land across 18 nature reserves, from wild expanses to urban oases. These reserves are home to some of Montgomeryshire's best loved and most threatened wildlife, such as otters, Ospreys, orchids, dormice, ancient woodlands and rare butterflies. These special wild places are not just vital for wildlife, but are also sanctuaries for people, offering communities spaces to reconnect with nature and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
But caring for these sites isn’t easy; it costs thousands of pounds each year to maintain and protect our reserves. Since the 1970s, we’ve lost 41% of our native wildlife and one in six species is now at risk of extinction - spaces like nature reserves where wildlife can thrive have never been more important. And this is where you can help us.
Becoming a Reserve Guardian is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses. It offers a chance to inspire your team, stand up for wildlife and leave a meaningful mark on Montgomeryshire's future!Montgomeryshire
