About the event

As part of the Welshpool Fairway to Haven partnership project with Welshpool Golf Club, we will be running this event to help people learn how to identify different butterfly species. During the walk, we will be keeping our eyes peeled for the rare Pearl-bordered Fritillary (PBF), which has been recorded on this site before. We hope that during the walk, alongside seeing a range of butterfly species, that we will spot some PBFs which will give us a better understanding of how they use the habitat on the golf course.

Refreshments will be available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. Booking is essential. Please email lottie@montwt.co.uk by Wednesday 16th May to book your free place.

This project is funded by Welsh Government’s Local Places for Nature Challenge Fund, administered by WCVA.
