About the event
Join the Wild Skills Wild Spaces (WSWS) nature and wellbeing project team at their spring networking event for local health and social care organisations to find out how the project can benefit health care professionals and their patients/clients in north Powys.
Guest speakers at this event will include Dom Higgins, Head of Health and Education for the Wildlife Trusts, who will talk about the importance of nature and climate on health and why it’s so vital to address inequality.
Cardiff Metropolitan university, Centre for Activity Wellbeing Research (CAWR), one of our project partners, will explain how WSWS fits within the Welsh Government’s new National Framework for Social Prescribing.
This event is designed to give our partners The NHS and Powys Teaching Health Board and other organisations working in health and social care the opportunity to speak with us about how our work can benefit health care professionals in North Powys.
There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the project team, our longstanding volunteers, and participants to learn how this project has benefited them.
