About the event

Joint event with the Camlad Valley Community Wildlife Group, who will be helping us look for the birds which call Roundton Hill home. Peregrines & Red Kites nest nearby and are frequently seen, while Redstart and Pied Flycatcher nest on the reserve. Others birds we are likely to see or hear include Buzzard, Green Woodpecker, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Stonechat, Wheatear, Blackcap and Raven.

Meet in the reserve car park. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Wear footwear suitable to the rough terrain and weather appropriate clothing.

If the weather might lead to the walk being cancelled, check the Camlad Valley Community Wildlife Group's website before setting off: Camlad Valley Future Events.
