About the event

As part of MWT Bird Group's spring/summer 2025 outings schedule, this local group will be visiting RSPB Ynys-Hir.

A mixture of oak woods, reedbeds, pools and saltmarsh, this reserve boasts all sorts of birds, including waders like Lapwings and Redshanks in summer. There's also a visitor centre, five hides and more than three miles of trails to explore.

Transport will be by car share, meeting at Llyn Coed-y-Dinas Nature Reserve at 8.30am the morning of the trip. Any donations to the driver towards petrol costs very welcome. It's recommended members with RSPB membership cards bring them, otherwise be advised RSPB charges an entry fee.
