About the event

Would you like to learn more about birdsong and how to identify it? Whether you're a total beginner or would like to develop your skills, join MWT Bird Group for this one-off, free Birdsong Workshop, during which cunty bird recorder and Bird Group Chair Simon Boyes will be playing recordings of our common species and suggesting ways to remember them. 

Simon has lived in Montgomeryshire since 1980, and has been county bird recorder since 2019. For 40 years he led bird-watching tours to all seven continents, and made 30 voyages to Antarctica as ship's ornithologist. He is an active volunteer with Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, and sits on the Council of the Welsh Ornithological Society. 

All are welcome, there is no need to book and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided too! We look forward to seeing you there!
