After many years in Welshpool, MWT is moving head offices to historic hall and estate, Gregynog, near Newtown.
A fantastic opportunity to take office space at Gregynog arose, and the Trust leapt at the chance to be based at the National Nature Reserve (NNR) in Tregynon, which has 750 acres of wildlife-rich grounds, ancient woodland and rare waxcap fungi.
MWT and Gregynog started working in partnership in 2024 on the successful Welcome Home to Nature project, and the charities are already exploring other prospects for collaboration.
"We're really excited to be moving to one of Wales' National Nature Reserves – the grounds and grassland will be an inspiration to our daily work. The team at Gregynog have welcomed us like old friends, and we are looking forward to working together for the benefit of local wildlife!CEO, Clive Faulkner
Wednesday 5th August will be the last day of trading for the Trust's Welshpool shop, and from 17th August we will be based at Gregynog.
The Trust's head office address might be different, but you’ll still be dealing with the same brilliant team and will be able to contact the team using the existing telephone number and email addresses.
There won't be a permanent MWT shop at Gregynog, but we hope to run pop-up stalls in the future – so keep your eyes peeled for updates on our socials.
