MWT Head Office
After many years in Welshpool, first at Collot House on Severn Street, then on Broad Street and most recently at Park Lane House on High Street, in August 2026 Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust moved its head office to historic hall and estate, Gregynog in Tregynon near Newtown.
With 750 acres of wildlife-rich grounds, ancient woodland and rare waxcap fungi, Gregynog is also a National Nature Reserve (NNR), a perfect base for the Trust's operations.
MWT and Gregynog started working in partnership in 2024 on the successful Welcome Home to Nature project, and the charities plan to continue collaborating for the benefit of people and wildlife.
There isn't a permanent shop at Gregynog, but we hope to run pop-up stalls in the future – so keep your eyes peeled for updates on our socials.
