The role

Joining the People and Wildlife Team, you will be working closely with our People and Wildlife Engagement Officer to support the delivery of the John Muir - Wild Guardians Award to children aged 9-25 years across North Montgomeryshire. You’ll help facilitate engaging, hands‑on sessions that inspire participants to Discover, Explore, Share, Learn and Conserve the natural world.

During term time, sessions will typically run two days a week from 4pm–6.30pm. In school holidays, sessions take place during the day. Because of this, flexibility is essential.

Please note, this is a part time role (7 hours per week over 2 days (flexible) on a Fixed Term contract from 1st April 2026).
