Severn Farm Pond
It's really taken off!
This relatively new nature reserve was built to give a home to wildlife in the middle of an industrial estate. It's amazing how many birds, plants and animals have taken up the offer of free housing!
Directions to the reserve: The reserve is found at grid reference SJ228068 between the factories of the Severn Farm Enterprise Park. From the centre of Welshpool, take the B4381 (Leighton Road) over the railway bridge then take the first right in to the Enterprise Park. Take the first right turn and you will see the reserve entrance gate in front of you. The nearest facilities are in the main car park in Welshpool.
