Pwll Penarth

Changing the beds

This site used to be settling beds for a sewage farm – now it's a real bird paradise. The lake has been developed to provide shallow margins for dabbling birds and deeper areas for divers. Two hides ensure good views over the lake and the cliffs, where sand martins nest.
