Llyn Mawr

Boggy heaven
If you like your wildlife wet, this is the place to be - and there’s
12 hectares of it! Water-loving birds and aquatic plants do well
at this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of a
plentiful supply of food delivered to the lake by rain, air and
the surrounding nutrient rich moorland.
