Directions to the reserve:
This reserve is located to the north of Abermule, approximately 5 miles from Newtown; Grid reference: SO160957
From Newtown, take the A483 towards Welshpool and continue past both turnings for Abermule village. After the second Abermule turn, take the next left (signposted for Dolforwyn Castle). Dolforwyn Hotel is visible as you turn up this lane. Car Parking is available at the Hotel car park – please park in the farthest car park.
Alternatively, there is space for cars at the lower reserve entrance. Continue along the lane turning to the left past the Hotel entrance. Go straight on and follow the lane as it curves right. The entrance gate is about 100 yards ahead on the right.
