Teaching Reserves

The Trust has four teaching reserves, two near Welshpool, one near Newtown and one near Machynlleth

The reserve has a fantastic dipping pond and a large hide with colourful displays which is excellent for bird spotting. The site also has a large car park and good access to all areas. There is a covered teaching area for use in bad weather and a compost toilet on site.

This reserve has two bird hides and a covered teaching area. There is also a sensory garden. Compost toilet facilities and car parking available.

Pwll Penarth, Newtown

 

This reserve has two bird hides and a specially created area for pond dipping. Shallow margins around the lake provides areas for wading birds.

Cors Dyfi, Machynlleth

 

Home of the Dyfi Ospreys, this reserve has a spectacular Observatory with large teaching area. The site also has a car park and toilets.
