Based in the reception area of the Trust office, the Trust Shop offers a wide selection of products designed to benefit the wildlife in your local area as well as encourage people young and old to take an interest in the wealth of nature around them. Shown below are some examples of the range of goods we have on offer.

Ecover cleaning products
Saving the planet one wash at a time! Ecover cleaning products use natural plant extracts to achieve fantastic cleaning results, without having to resort to environment damaging chemicals. Feeders and Feeding Accessories
Attract a variety of birds to your garden with our range of feeders. We stock a selection of sizes and styles to suit every pocket and feed type, be it Peanuts, Seed or Fat Foods. Also available are Predator Proof Caged Feeders for peanuts or seed to keep the squirrels and cats at bay. To accompany our feeders we also stock Seed Trays, Poles, Tree Hooks, and Scroll Hooks. Don’t miss our competitively priced Anywhere Bird Bath or our Transparent Window Feeder.
Seed, Peanuts and Feed
The perfect accompaniment to our range of feeders is our selection of Seeds, Peanuts and Fat Foods. Choose from our small or large bags of Premium Peanuts, Energy Blend Feed or Black Sunflower Seeds. Our fat products include Fat Balls (Standard and Large), Fat Tubs, Fat Pine Cones and Fat Logs.
Bird and animal boxes
Once you have attracted the birds and animals to your garden you can offer them a place to roost or breed from our selection of animal and bird boxes. For the birds we offer a 32mm and 24mm Hole Fronted Box, Open Fronted Box, Multi-Front Box, Owl Boxes and even a Sparrow Terrace for our more gregarious feathered friends! We also stock Roosting Nests as well as Bat Boxes and Hedgehog Boxes for your nocturnal visitors.
Insect boxes
Insects can be the gardener’s friend but attracting the right ones can be difficult. Something that may help is the introduction of insect houses and we offer Bug Boxes, Bee Cylinders and Ladybird Towers to suit every available space and pocket. We also stock a Butterfly Habitat to encourage these beautiful creatures to live in your garden.
Cuddly toys
Our cuddly toy range includes a wide variety of native species, including fox hand puppets, magnetic bats, moveable otters and large cuddly animals like ravens and stoats. We also stock an enormous variety of singing birds, grasshoppers and bees; these plush creatures play authentic sounds when squeezed and make fantastic gifts for young and old alike!
Cards and gift wrap
Quality cards at affordable prices are available in packs of 10 portraying Birds of Prey, Butterflies, Mammals and Garden Birds. We also stock a range of pretty gift wrap featuring some of Wales’ most beautiful birds and animals.
Books and literature
Whether for the serious spotter or garden enthusiast, our range of beautifully illustrated Field Studies Council guides will make identifying the species of Montgomeryshire easy and fun. The guides cover a variety of species and habitats, from Garden Birds to Clouds, Butterflies to Spiders and Woodlands to Wetlands.
We also have books and leaflets to help with all aspects of wildlife management and identification, including Wildlife Ponds, Meadows and Cornfields, Red Mason Bees and a selection of Wildlife Trust Guides. Also available from the shop are copies of the MWT Reserves Brochure (still only £1!) which gives an overview of all our Nature Reserves including birds-eye maps and directions.
