COLLOT HOUSE
Located in the heart of Welshpool, Collot House is the office of the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. The building is a three storey Grade 2 Listed town house and is located on Severn Street a few doors away from the canal museum.
The Trust was able to purchase Collot House as its home due to a legacy left by Mrs Collot and the new offices were named in memory of her generous gift
In recent years, we have expanded the offices to accomodate our growing workforce. We have also installed a small but thriving shop in the reception area which sells a variety of items for the wildlife enthusiast at competitive prices. Work on our wildlife garden at the back of the building is still ongoing, but we hope to be able to open this space to visitors as an example of gardening best practice in the future.
The office and shop are open 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm, Monday to Friday and visitors are most welcome.
