Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust Biodiversity Matters II

The Conservation Strategy of the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust 2006-2016

Our vision is of a Montgomeryshire rich with wildlife where people are aware of, care for and enjoy their natural environment. This action plan sets out our strategy for delivering our vision.

The next steps that we will take to implement our plan will be:

  • Raise sufficient funds to deliver our strategic plan.
  • Forge a closer working relationship with the Wildlife Trusts in Wales to deliver conservation and influence policy at a national and local level.
  • Build on current relationships with statutory and non government agencies to support our work and continue delivering conservation through partnership projects.
  • Establish and foster relationships with new and potential partners.
  • Engage volunteers with a wide range of activities such as biological recording and admin support.
  • Extend our work to engage greater community involvement and champion the economic and social benefits that can be achieved through our environment.

Our thanks to our Partner organisations for their past and continued support
